Dear Elizabeth, trust you are keeping fine. True enough to what you said about Penang Island. It is indeed a true paradise at least for a KLite. I was there during this year Chinese New Year followed my friend who also originated from Penang.

Very friendly people and the 'bus drivers or captains as Prasarana called them are extremely friendly and patient to explain the routes that has been designated on their buses. You have rightly mentioned that the standards of the hawker food has somewhat dropped as the seniors has either no one to handover their business or their siblings are interested to do something else than the 'hard work' that their parents has struggle overtime. Nevertheless, I do enjoyed my stay in Penang and we found a good hotel near Air Item named 'De View' within walking distance to 'Kek Lok Si' temple and the Penang funicular railway station that is off course wants like to walk and I really do. This is also one way I am able to contribute to the City's carbon neutral or the country 'Green' programme agenda ! q;-) Cheers
