Hello friends,
I’m a big believer in writing what you want, when you want it, however you want it. That’s a big reason why I refused to bow down to the SEO gods and remained stubbornly nicheless, even though they tell me that it’ll be difficult to drive traffic to my blog, let alone monetise it, as a result.
During my recent downtime from blogging, I have been asking myself if there is a connection between the seemingly random articles on my blog. It took me a while, but I realised that there was one word that tied my content together: Peace.

I write about money because managing it better will bring peace.
I write about minimalism because it has brought me peace, and is still continuing to bring me peace as I apply its principles in everything I do, such as how I:
Work and live
Travel
Manage my creative endeavours
Make my career choices
Manage my money
What I’m after is peace. And I want the same for you, dear readers. That’s why I write what I write.
But modern life makes it difficult to see through the fog sometimes. A lot of advice out there is geared towards maximising and optimising results … at the cost of your peace and well-being. This is especially prevalent in the personal finance and productivity sphere. I was trying to write my way out of this fog of confusion and pressure, and I have to admit it is not easy.
But I’m getting closer day by day.
Question to you: What brings you peace?
Behind the pages
With this newfound clarity, I find myself awash with ideas. So, I’m currently planning all kinds of interesting content for you! It includes a “resources” section where I hope to share useful information such as links to useful sites and tools; I also plan to create printables such as journals, checklists and little ebooks!
So many ideas, so little time and energy, however. My full-time job, which is such a blessing to me during these crazy, uncertain pandemic times, takes a lot of my mental and physical energy, and I am always careful not to tread too far lest I burn out. But slowly and surely, the content will arrive.
New blog posts will start arriving in the next two weeks as I try to organise my ideas in a clearer, more coherent flow. (You can already see this reflected in my newly tweaked homepage: have a look!)
See you soon, and have a great weekend!
