Sounds like a cool premise. Excited to see how this turns out.

David Mitchell’s first novel was Ghostwritten (just finished it) which weaves together 9 different characters. It was very ambitious for a first novel and has a similar style of a complete story with each and bridging content.

Love this idea. Makes me realize I have effectively half a composite novel just hanging out on my laptop.

Excited to see this!

A composite novel (or fix-up) is a fun idea. I did that with my book Digital Darkness and would totally do that again sometime.

This is fabulous! Now I’m wondering if my sci-fi serial could be taking place in the distant past when your humans first left Earth! 🤓

Hi again! I realise that the book I’m working on is following the same model. It’s non-fiction with considerable self-biographical aspects, not linear, rather written like a short story cycle. Topic: Russia.

This is a super idea 💡! I love The Martian Chronicles but didn’t know it was a “composite novel”.

Looking forward to reading these. One of my favorite SF authors is Cordwainer Smith. I think some of his work falls into this category.

Wow. Never knew what to call this type of novel, though I’ve long loved Isaac Asimov’s *I, Robot* and how it does this very thing. Thanks for giving me a name to go with the genre! And so cool that you’re doing this 🙌🏻🥳
