We are far too eager to sacrifice our well-being for the sake of our creative projects. To prevent that, we need to nail down the routines that takes care of us first.
I don’t think there’s any shame in having unfinished stories, if the endings need time to percolate. Life’s one big unfinished story, after all! It’s when those stories are calling to you, begging to be completed, that it’s highly satisfying to get them done. All the best with it.
Totally agree with you about the lack of guilt thing. But I think I tend to err on the lack of guilt side a bit too heavily lol. I asked fellow writers if they have this much unfinished stories, and they said no, usually just 1-5 at most lol. I'd like to break this habit of always chasing after a new story idea and not completing them :P
Oh, and I like idea of the 3 routines. I’m sorely in need of prioritising exercise, so this was a good reminder.
Sometimes things aren’t meant to get finished - I tell myself to justify having so many unfinished things haha
You know, I think that' a totally valid point to make lol.

"I have 26 unfinished stories.
If I’m to include my novels, it will be 31 unfinished stories."
This is me crying salty tears of empathy.
Let's cry together lol
I'm not crying that your crying. You're crying that I'm crying that your crying! T_T
